On February 16, 2020, a tragic shooting occurred at the Majestic Lounge, a nightclub located on Franklin Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. The incident resulted in the death of 28-year-old Marquis Treadwell, a Hartford resident, and left four others injured. The shooting took place shortly before 1:30 a.m., during a time when the club was occupied by approximately 50 to 60 patrons.
