In the late hours of August 29, 2020, a young man's life was abruptly ended on a Bridgeport, Connecticut sidewalk. Heriberto Marquez, a 24-year-old male, was discovered near the intersection of Iranistan Avenue and Hanover Street at approximately 11:50 PM. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel who responded to the call. The nature of his death was described by investigators as an "execution-style murder."
