In the predawn hours of October 2, 2021, the life of 29-year-old Jonathan Dasilva, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Outside the VIP Lounge on Pembroke Street, a chaotic scene unfolded around 4:15 a.m. Responding to alerts from the ShotSpotter system and multiple 911 calls, police arrived to find a scene of violence.
