Travis Bush Jr., a 21-year-old resident of Ansonia, Connecticut, tragically lost his life to gun violence on September 12, 2023, in Bridgeport. The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Carleton Avenue, where police responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered Travis lying face down in the street, suffering from critical gunshot wounds. Despite the swift arrival of medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
