On a late Saturday night in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the life of Tayvon Geter, a 32-year-old Black/African American man, came to a violent end. The events of March 30, 2024, unfolded inside an illegal gambling club operating on Stratford Avenue. That evening, Geter, along with 30-year-old Richard Davis, entered the establishment armed and wearing masks with the intention of robbing the patrons inside. The scene quickly turned chaotic and deadly.
