On March 17, 2022, at approximately 3:30 a.m., 33-year-old New Haven resident Brian Faulks was fatally shot. He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital by a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit identified the crime scene on Spring Street, between Dewitt and Button streets, in the Hill neighborhood of New Haven.
