On the night of April 11, 2022, Jorge Luis Delgado Jr., a 23-year-old male from Waterbury, was fatally shot in New Haven, Connecticut. Shortly after 9:30 p.m., police responded to calls and discovered him inside his vehicle on South Frontage Road, situated between York and College streets near Yale New Haven Hospital. He had sustained gunshot wounds. Emergency medical responders transported him to the nearby hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
