On May 10, 2011, 49-year-old Connie Ann Snow was found deceased in the Ouachita National Forest near Garland, Arkansas. Her body had been shot in the face and left in the forest. The investigation led authorities to Randy William Gay, a 56-year-old man with a history of violent crimes. Gay was arrested and charged with capital murder for Snow's death.
