In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 23, 2021, the quiet of Ross Creek Road, south of Waldron, Arkansas, was broken by the sound of gunshots. A concerned resident alerted the Scott County Sheriff's Department at 4:10 AM, leading deputies to a grim discovery. Inside a pick-up truck parked outside a home, they found the body of a young woman in the passenger seat.
