On March 24, 2023, a homicide occurred during an apparent robbery at Doug's Eastside Convenience store located at 9017 Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Chanell Moore, a 28-year-old mother of four, was working at the store when the incident took place. Around 10:17 p.m., police responded to the scene and found Moore deceased.
