A 19 year old college student disappears in a parking lot
On December 1, 1994, 19-year-old Melissa Witt disappeared from the Bowling World parking lot in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She had gone there to meet her mother, but never made it inside. Blood and signs of a struggle were found near her car, leading investigators to believe she had been abducted. Six weeks later, on January 13, 1995, her naked body was discovered by hunters in the Ozark National Forest, about 45 miles from where she was taken.
