On the evening of July 27, 2015, the life of 25-year-old Latosha Lewis, a Black female, was tragically cut short in a shooting at the Shorter Gardens Apartment complex in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Responding to calls of gunfire at approximately 9:50 p.m., police discovered Lewis on the ground with a fatal gunshot wound to her chest. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
