In the late hours of a Wednesday in Forrest City, Arkansas, the life of 22-year-old Desmond Shaw was tragically cut short. On September 2, 2015, Shaw, a Black male, was in a vehicle with three other individuals in a parking lot when gunfire erupted. Responding to reports of gunshot victims, Forrest City Police discovered the car, marked by bullet holes.
