Aaron Bennett, a 19-year-old from Chicago, was fatally shot on October 28, 2016, while driving in the Kelvin Park neighborhood. He was struck by gunfire while behind the wheel of his car, ultimately succumbing to his injuries a day later. Aaron's tragic death took place during a particularly violent year in Chicago, which saw a major spike in homicides and gun violence, resulting in over 760 people killed across the city.
