Tevin Kirkman, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 24, 2013, at his home in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. He suffered three gunshot wounds to his head and two to his body. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.
