Terrell Pittman, a 36-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on May 31, 2022, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. in the front yard of a home located in the 6000 block of South Racine Avenue. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Terrell Pittman was shot in the head. He was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
