Jermaine Sykes, a 44-year-old man, was fatally shot on October 1, 2023, in the Noble Square neighborhood of West Town, Chicago. The incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. when Sykes was standing outside near 1070 N. Milwaukee Ave. He was approached by an unknown offender who began shooting at him.
