Lance L. Braxton, aged 36, was fatally shot on October 8, 2015, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago's West Side. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. while Lance was reportedly playing dice at the 5800 block of West Chicago Avenue. During this time, at least two individuals approached and opened fire, striking Lance as well as another 36-year-old man.
