Quincy A. Harris, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 17, 2018, in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago, Illinois. According to reports, Harris was standing on the sidewalk around 10:10 p.m. in the 13000 block of South Evans Avenue when he was approached by another male who shot him in the head and abdomen. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed that Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
