In the early evening hours of New Year's Day in 2016, the life of 32-year-old Terry Jones was tragically cut short in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jones was the city's first homicide victim of the year. The incident occurred just after 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of 22nd and Bragg Streets, where police responded to a report of a shooting.
