On August 7, 2017, at approximately 8:45 p.m., 29-year-old Derek Antonie Duvall was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Valero gas station located at 1201 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Emergency responders arrived promptly and administered CPR; however, despite their efforts, Duvall succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
