Tredevon Manning, a Black male, 25, was shot and killed on the afternoon of September 28, 2020, after police were called just after 3 p.m. to Apartment 205 at the Indiandale Apartments, 105 Lowery Street, in Hot Springs. Officers found two victims inside; Manning was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second man, 31-year-old Kenneth Young of Hot Springs, was discovered with serious injuries and taken to a local hospital.
The shooting drew an immediate response from detectives, who began interviewing witnesses at the complex as the investigation opened.
Authorities reported no suspects in custody in the initial aftermath. Public updates at the time emphasized the active nature of the investigation and asked anyone with information to contact a named detective with the Hot Springs Police Department. Later memorial notices and community postings continued to mark the loss, but open-source records do not reflect an arrest or charges announced in connection with Manning’s killing.
