In the early morning hours of August 8, 2017, the quiet community of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was disturbed by a tragic event that unfolded within the walls of a local home. Mickie Kelsey, a 74-year-old woman, was found deceased from a gunshot wound. The circumstances leading to her death began to surface after her husband, 73-year-old George Kelsey, made a distress call to 911 around 1 a.m. In his call, he admitted to shooting his wife and then turning the gun on himself.
