On October 25, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Little Rock Police Department responded to a distress call at the Spanish John's Apartments, located in the 5000 block of West 65th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The first victim, identified as 35-year-old Larry Bearfield of Little Rock, was pronounced dead at the scene.
