On a summer evening in Turrell, Arkansas, the life of 18-year-old Keith E. Densmore was tragically cut short. On June 9, 2018, just three days shy of his nineteenth birthday, the young, Black male was fatally shot at the Turrell Manor Apartments. When authorities arrived at the scene, Densmore was pronounced dead.
In the wake of the shooting, an arrest was made in connection with the homicide. Roosevelt C. Jackson, 26 years old at the time, was taken into custody.
While an arrest was made, the motive behind the fatal shooting was not publicly disclosed.
A resident of Blytheville, Arkansas, Keith was a young man with dreams for the future. He was a student in the cosmetology program at Blytheville High School with the ambition of one day becoming a barber. He was an employee at a local Sonic Drive-In and was known for his love of basketball, particularly his admiration for the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James.
