In the early hours of a Sunday in Forrest City, Arkansas, the life of 22-year-old Douglas L. 'Dougie' Logan came to a tragic end. On May 1, 2022, Logan, a young man known to his loved ones as 'Lil Doug,' was fatally shot, leaving a community to grapple with the circumstances of his death.
According to reports from the Forrest City Police Department, the incident unfolded as an alleged attempted burglary.
Logan was reportedly trying to gain entry into a residence on Center Street when he was shot by the homeowner.
