In the late summer of 2018, a tragedy unfolded in the small town of Lake Village, Arkansas, culminating in the death of 14-year-old Christopher Nelson. On the evening of Tuesday, August 21, the Chicot County Sheriff's Office received a distressing call from a man who stated he had accidentally shot his son.
