In the summer of 2021, a violent encounter in the small city of Lake Village, Arkansas, ended the life of 53-year-old James Harden. On the afternoon of Monday, July 5th, Harden was outside a residence at 423 Lee Street when a man, later identified as Derrick Wilson, arrived at the location. According to witnesses, a confrontation ensued, and Harden attempted to flee from Wilson.
