On a Sunday evening in Lake Village, Arkansas, the life of 18-year-old Jayani L. Jordan was tragically cut short. On January 8, 2023, while walking in the front yard of a residence located at 604 Elm Street, Jordan was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m., prompting a witness to report the sound of gunfire to the Lake Village Police Department.
