Diego Gomez-Lopez, a 47-year-old man, was last seen on September 1, 2016, attempting to cross into Texas from Reynosa, Mexico, through the Rio Grande at an unknown location near McAllen, Texas. Gomez-Lopez, like many others making the dangerous journey across the border, was reported missing after failing to reach his destination. His last known contact was when he attempted the crossing, but no further details have emerged since that time.
