In the autumn of 2018, the life of a young man, Michael Antez Traevon Edwards, was tragically cut short in El Dorado, Arkansas. A Black male, Edwards was just 20 years old when he was killed by gun violence on October 28, 2018. Born in Rockford, Illinois, on September 1, 1998, he had moved to Arkansas with his family at a young age and was raised in the community of Smackover.
