In the summer of 2015, the life of 11-year-old Comesico T. Pumphrey, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On July 2nd of that year, in the city of El Dorado, Arkansas, Comesico was a victim of gun violence. The incident that led to his untimely death sent ripples of shock and grief through the community, leaving family and friends to mourn the loss of a young boy described as very sweet and loving.
The circumstances surrounding his death prompted an immediate
investigation by local law enforcement. The senseless act of violence that claimed Comesico's life did not go unanswered. Authorities worked to piece together the events of that fateful day, seeking to bring those responsible to justice. Their efforts led to the identification of potential suspects who were believed to be connected to the shooting.
