In the summer of 2015, the life of 11-year-old Comesico T. Pumphrey, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On July 2nd of that year, in the city of El Dorado, Arkansas, Comesico was a victim of gun violence. The incident that led to his untimely death sent ripples of shock and grief through the community, leaving family and friends to mourn the loss of a young boy described as very sweet and loving.
