In the late hours of a Monday in El Dorado, Arkansas, the life of Devontre Marbray, a 25-year-old Black/African American male, was cut short by gunfire. On August 18, 2025, at approximately 11:45 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired at a residence located at 1212 North Gray Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Marbray in the yard, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel were unable to save him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
