In the summer of 2022, the life of 29-year-old Nathan Rainey Jr., a Black male from El Dorado, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. On the evening of August 6th, police responded to a call at the Hillsboro Townhouse Apartments. Inside his own apartment, they discovered Rainey with a fatal gunshot wound to his stomach; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
