On the evening of June 2, 2020, around 9:30 p.m., 19-year-old Nicholas Jones was found by Little Rock police officers in the driver's seat of a vehicle near Cantrell Road and Cleveland Street, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite receiving immediate medical attention and being transported to a hospital, Jones succumbed to his injuries the following day.
