Willie C. Evans, a 29-year-old African American male from Springfield, Illinois, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Evans attempted to forcibly enter a residence on North 11th Street. According to reports, he was shot by Martin A.
