In the late hours of August 10, 2020, a dice game on Main Street in Osceola, Arkansas, became the backdrop for a fatal turn of events for 20-year-old Demetrius Crawley. That evening, Dennis Davis, accompanied by Douglas Freeman, Roderick Hale, and Deanthony Poole, arrived at the residence where the game was taking place. After a brief entry into the crowded house, Davis and Freeman returned to their vehicle.
