On the evening of October 30, 2020, a dispute over a car accident in Little Rock, Arkansas, escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 22-year-old Edmond Daniels, a Black male. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Arapaho Trail.
Responding to a call about a shooting in progress, Little Rock police officers arrived to find Daniels in the driveway of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to witnesses at the scene, the shooting stemmed from a disturbance that began after a car accident. Investigators were informed that an argument erupted following the collision, which ultimately led to the deadly gunfire. The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory was tasked with conducting an autopsy to officially determine the cause of death.
