In the spring of 2021, the life of KeyShawn Lamont Moseby, a 28-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Little Rock, Arkansas. On the evening of May 28th, Moseby was fatally shot while in his 2019 Kia near the intersection of 24th and Marshall Streets. The vehicle, riddled with bullet holes, ultimately crashed into a utility pole. When first responders arrived at the scene around 9:20 p.m., they discovered Moseby deceased inside the car.
He was not alone in the vehicle.
A 20-year-old passenger, Marquette Muhammad, was also found inside, suffering from critical injuries. A third individual, 27-year-old Terrance James of Sherwood, was also connected to the violent encounter. He later arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds sustained in the same incident; his condition was reported as stable.
The Little Rock Police Department promptly launched a homicide investigation into the shooting. Despite their appeals to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the person or people responsible, no arrests have been publicly announced in connection with the case.
