On July 18, 2021, at approximately 9 p.m., Little Rock police responded to a shooting in the 10,000 block of Mabelvale Plaza Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 21-year-old Adrian Jennings inside a maroon car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene. A minor was also found in the vehicle with a gunshot wound and was transported to Arkansas Children's Hospital for treatment.
