On a summer evening in Little Rock, Arkansas, the life of a promising young man was cut short. Adrian Jennings, a 21-year-old Black male, was found inside a maroon car on July 18, 2021, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The vehicle was located in the 10,000 block of Mabelvale Plaza Drive, where Little Rock police had responded to a shooting at approximately 9 p.m. Despite the efforts of first responders, Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene.
