Arthur Estralla, 49, male, was shot on the evening of October 12, 2021, in rural Hot Spring County just north of Malvern. Investigators placed the scene at a residence along Arkansas Highway 171, where gunfire was reported around 7:30 p.m. First responders took him from the property at 3260 Highway 171 to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 8 p.m. Authorities publicly identified him as being from Hot Springs, Arkansas, rather than Malvern.
