In the early morning hours of November 26, 2021, a burst of violence shattered the quiet in West Helena, Arkansas, leaving two young men dead. Just after midnight, at approximately 12:22 a.m., law enforcement responded to a call of a shooting on US Hwy 49 West. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered 18-year-old Avin Redmon and 21-year-old Eddie Trancy inside a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
