On the night of January 13, 2022, a domestic disturbance in Dumas, Arkansas, escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 36-year-old Jason Jenkins. The male victim was outside a residence at 315 South Ash Street when the incident occurred at approximately 10:55 PM.

Responding to reports of the disturbance, Dumas police officers arrived at the scene to find both Jenkins and another man, 35-year-old Robert Washington, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to ...
