On December 8, 2009, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Omaha Police responded to a shooting at 7166 N 30th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon arrival, officers found 40-year-old John Wesley Gerber suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
