John Wesley Gerber, 40, a white male, was at work on a Tuesday afternoon when violence found him. On December 8, 2009, around 1 p.m., he was behind the counter at Howell’s BP gas station at 7166 North 30th Street in Omaha when a gunman came in and shot him.
