On a tragic day in Phoenix, Arizona, a dedicated officer's life was cut short in a sudden act of violence. Leonard Leon Kolodziej, a 43-year-old male, was responding to a call on September 4, 1991, in a residential neighborhood at 4300 N. 20th Street.
