On November 26, 2024, 30-year-old Tomas Newman, also known as Tamás, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Newman had gone to check on a neighbor's house in the 200 block of Uvalde Road when he encountered Adrian G. Reeves, 35, who allegedly shot him. Reeves was reportedly searching for someone else with whom he had a conflict but came across Newman instead.
