On November 21, 2024, at approximately 1:06 a.m., 21-year-old Khamal J. Blissitt of SeaTac was fatally shot while driving his 2010 Lexus along Veterans Drive in Kent, Washington. Witnesses reported that Blissitt had stopped at a traffic light, preparing to turn northbound onto Military Road South, when an individual approached his vehicle and fired multiple shots into the passenger's side window.
