Tevin, a lifelong resident of Suffolk, was born on March 29, 1994, to his parents, Calvin
Nowell Jones, Sr., and Laurice Whitehead Savage. He was the fourth of six siblings and a cherished member of his family. He attended local schools, including Mount Zion Elementary School, John F. Kennedy Middle School, and Lakeland High School. At the time of his passing, he was an employee at Ace Hardware, where he was known for his hardworking nature and kind spirit. Described as a devoted father to his two children, Noah and Morgan, Tevin's passions included football, basketball, and music. Those who knew him remember his warm personality and a sense of humor that could brighten any room.
The Suffolk Police Department is investigating the shooting as a homicide.
