In the coastal city of Virginia Beach, the life of 17-year-old Dejour 'DJ' Crippen, a male student at Indian River High School, was tragically cut short on the evening of December 2, 2024. The promising young man was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Kempsville Road and, despite efforts to save him, succumbed to his injuries. Remembered as a bright and ambitious student, Crippen had aspirations of joining the military after graduation.
