On December 14, 2024, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to a shooting incident in the 14200 block of Coit Road in Far North Dallas. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Kevin Flores-Gandra with gunshot wounds inside a pickup truck located behind the El Rancho Supermercado. Officers immediately administered CPR, and Flores-Gandra was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
